Sofie Boonman - De Koesterkamer

Nature is for Sofie Boonman (1978) an unlimited source of inspiration. A very logical one because every element of nature answers automatically, aesthetically and functionnaly to requirements of its environment. Like nature, Sofie's works are also in perpetual move, developping and so changing, creating an infinite range. Sofie works from a language of organic shapes and associates them regularly with lines and contrasted geometrical structures. 

Sofie studied product design and jewelry at Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts. She now lives and works in Eindhoven. She creates furniture, accessories, jewelry and autonomous objects. She works graphically, designs, paints, make illustrations and regularly works with ceramics.
